No Charge
As I came in mother kitchen one evening while she was fixing supper and I handed her a piece paper I had been writing on and after wiping her hands on an apron She took it in her hands and read it and this is what it said:

For listening to all your fussing $5
And for making me wash dishes this week $1
For going to the store $.50
And for you making me sit on the porch when I was younger $.25
Taking out the trash $1
And for always getting on the phone, cussing me to get off $5
And for playing your lottery, knowing you were short money $2
Total owed $14.75

Well momma looked at me standing there and expecting
And a thousand memories flashed through her mind
So she looked at me and this is what she said:

For the 9 months I carried you holding you inside me $ NO CHARGE
For the nights I sat up with doctored you and prayed for you $ NO CHARGE
For the time and tears and the costs through the years
There is NO CHARGE
When you add it all up the full cost of my love is $ NO CHARGE

For the nights filled with grey, And the worries ahead For the advice and the knowledge
And the costs of your college $ NO CHARGE
For the toys, school, and clothes And for wiping your nose
There's NO CHARGE Marjorie
When you add it all the full cost of my love is NO CHARGE

Well you know when I think about that
I think about the day that Jesus went out to Calvary and gave his life as a ransom for me
When I think on the words "If Any Man be in Christ He's A New Creature"
I like to think about the very minute that HE shedded his blood My debt was paid in full
And I want you to know today when you add it all up The full cost of Real Love is
NO CHARGE

A Mother's Heart

When you feel like breaking down or crashing in,
Who do you turn to, to forgive your sin?
When you cried your lonely tears,
Who will be there to fight your fears?
And when it feels like no one would understand,
Who was there to hold your hand?

There are people whom you can't replace,
They’re the ones who gave you your face.
They'll love you through thick and thin,
They show you the light from deep within.
And if by chance, you happen to die,
They’ll be the ones who will really cry.

You see, my friend, there's no one who can love you more,
Than your very own mother, that's for sure.
Always remember that this is true,
That wherever you go, your mother will be there for you.

Today, it is 6 months my mother has ben gone and it seems so long. She knows that I love her and think of her daily.

Your baby girl, Marjorie

Hi mom.

Wanted to take a few minutes out and fill you in on what was going on with the family since you have been gone. Everyone is much closer now, we are in contact with each other. Willie, Michael, Odesta and Bernice have been getting together throughout the month for dinner. Jr calls me more, but Freddy and  David , no comments!

Guess what? Your crazy daughter Bernice is still in Illinois and running wild. You need to stop by and pay her a visit!!! I told her if you were here, she would not be in the street. It is true, she listened to you. Odesta has not been feeling well lately, and  I worry about her alot, but dont you no me, i think I am everybody momma anyway. Dont you worry just relax and promise me that you and Cousin Mary isn't acting up. I know when you two get together...all mess erupt!!!  Dont be up there, bar-b-quing for everybody...just relax and rest until God says its time to go. Bobbie is still the same. its true until people want to change ther aint nothing we can do for them. You tried and momma you did your best.

My family is well. Your twin, Timira(granddaughter) is so much like you....only thing is that she dont curse and Tim would probably take her to the alter if she did.

Okay that is enough gossip.  Remember, I love you and think of you everyday. Thank you for loving me through all my faults! Because of you, I can say I made it through heartache and trails. You was truly appreciated.

I love you, mom

If Tears Could Build a Stairway...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,

I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken. No time to say "Goodbye".

You were gone before I knew it and only God knows why.

My heart still aches with sadness and secret tears still flow.

What it means to love you, No one can ever know.

But now, I know you want me to mourn for you no more.

To remember all the happy times life still has much in store.

Since you'll never be forgotten. I pledge to you today ,

A hollowed place within my heart is where you'll always stay.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM, I LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!

Louise

Dear Grandma,

I think of You often

though I never let it show,

But what it means to lose You,

no one will ever know.

You wished me no farewell,

not even said good- bye,

You were gone before I knew it,

and only God knows why.

You are not forgotten

nor will You eVeR be!

As long as life and memories last,

I'll cherish the love You have for me.

To some, You may be forgotten,

to others a part of the past,

But to me who loved You with all my heart,

Grandma, Your memories will aLways last.

Nothing can be more beautiful

than the memories I have of You.

To me, You are someone special,

Must be that God thought so too!

If tears could build a staircase

Or my memories could make me a lane,

I would run aLL the way to Heaven,

and bring You back again!!

I LOVE YOU GRANDMA

&& I'm sorry it took so long for me to say it.
